Enjoy our beautiful selfie/show garden that features a whopping 1 million tulips (700 different varieties).
Capture the ultimate photo amid the array of colours or from the special photo opportunity points. All the tulips are from our own nursery.

Note: Keep in mind that our show garden blooms in phases and depends on nature. However, with 700 varieties in our show garden, our indoor tulip show and indoor picking garden, there are always tulips blooming!

Our Mission
Tulip Experience Amsterdam was established in late 2019, partly in response to growing tourism in the Flower Bulb Region and increasing pressure on the bulb fields (the production fields).
The Tulip Experience informs visitors about the hard work performed by bulb growers, providing the opportunity to take amazing photos without damaging the precious production fields in the Flower Bulb Region.
Museum
Where the History and Cultivation Process of the Tulip come to Life
Our museum takes you on a journey around the world.
From the tulip’s discovery in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its current status as a Dutch icon. You will learn everything about the tulip and can interactively explore the bulb cultivation cycle with the aid of new machines and historic objects (pre-1950).
You can also take an audio tour of our museum, which is available in 9 languages.

Pick your own Bunch of Tulips!
You can pick your own bunch of tulips at the indoor picking garden (included in the ticket price), so you can take home a colourful memento of your visit!

Coffee Corner ‘De Witte Zwaan’

Farmers’ Market
Score the cutest tulip souvenirs at our farmers’ market: from keychains and bags to mugs and magnets and from (hand made) local products to summer-flowering bulbs.
Cinema
Watch a short film that brings the unique history of tulip cultivation before 1950 to life in our historic cinema!
For Kids
Our adventurous scavenger hunt helps children discover the magical world of tulips, making a visit to the Tulip Experience, educational, as well as fun!
Art Exhibitions
Explore our four beautiful art exhibitions including the ‘Bloemencorso Bollenstreek Collection', 'ninety-nine tulips', works by local artists as well as insights from Old Masters.
Free Parking
We have a spacious parking lot with 150 spaces for cars and 7 spaces for coaches or camper vans. Parking is free and only permitted during your visit. No reservation required.
