Heck yeah! Also, S/Os are standardly female unless stated otherwise!

Also I’m gonna be using Belarus’ ‘human’ name; Natalya and Russia = Ivan (I like using their ‘human’ names. Feels…weird referring to them via country names)

  • When Natalya first met you, it was when she was visiting her big brother, Ivan.
  • She wasn’t invited, per se, as her brother wasn’t as accepting of her love as she wished he would be, but eventually he’d understand. She was certain of that.
  • What she hadn’t been expecting was to see you at his house.
  • It was one of her usual ‘surprise’ visits, with Natalya bursting through the front door, unannounced, not paying any attention to any of her brother’s servants as she tried to locate where he was. He didn’t often leave his home, and she had practically memorised times when he would, so she knew he was more than certainly at home.
  • However, when she found him (by bursting into one of his parlour room) she found you sitting on the seat opposite, softly talking with Ivan. The moment she saw you, she knew she hated you.
  • How dare another woman try to take Ivan away from her!?
  • You were aware of who she was - Ivan had spoken about her often, though it was mostly in absolute terror and trauma than in brotherly love for her. Though, you knew he did care for her - he just….felt frightened by the obsession she held for him.
  • Hearing about it was one thing, witnessing Natalya’s behaviour, was another thing altogether. It was immensely concerning to watch.
  • It was…surreal, to say the least, to have Natalya suddenly yell at you and call you a whor* and a seductress, cursing you out and threatening you in Belarusian and Russian respectively, as you just sighed and stared at her, trying to not seem intimidated. You really did pity Ivan, and whilst you were being accused of seducing the personification of your country, you signalled for him to get the hell out, which he gladly did - but not before sending you a grateful, albeit an apologetic glance.
  • When Natalya snapped out of her aggressive state, she realised Ivan had ran off, as she yelled at you once more before leaving the room to look for Ivan once more, cursing you.
  • The moment she left, you fell onto the sofa beneath you, sighing out a huff of air you had kept inside your lungs to make yourself act tougher than you were.
  • Natalya was a handful, that was for sure…
  • Though, since that day you made sure to try and spend more time around Ivan, regarding yourself as a sort of ‘protector’. It was odd, really, for someone who could be immensely cruel and harsh and who would frighten so many people to need someone else to keep him safe from the biggest threat of all - his obsessive sister.
  • It wasn’t until your fourth or fifth meeting that she even realised who you were - Moscow.
  • It made sense to her when she found that out, after all few people actually liked her big brother (though she had no idea why he wasn’t more liked - she, personally, adored him, but she supposed it better for him to be disliked as it meant that until you, she had been the only one who really spent time with him (apart from those he oppressed and big sister, but that couldn’t be helped).
  • She had assumed you to be a human woman to begin with, but then when you informed her one of your fateful meetings that you were actually the personification of Moscow, casually and rather bluntly, when she insulted you for being a ‘mortal slu*t’. It was funny to you at that point, more than it was intimidating. You were a gentle girl, but after having dealt with Natalya for several times in a row, you felt it almost impossible to take her seriously. To you, she seemed to have a sharp bark, and though you were sure she could bite (as you heard around the grapevine) she didn’t appear to have ‘bitten’ you yet. Perhaps, you were underestimating her but in all honesty, you found Natalya to be rather cute.
  • Natalya absolutely hated to see you. Every time she saw you, she wished you would just drop dead - her big brother didn’t need you! All he needed was her, he just didn’t see it…yet!
  • And that hatred she held for you only grew the more and more she interacted with you. She hated how you would stand up to her like not many other people would, she hated how you eventually started smiling or even - giggling - when she was trying to verbally abuse and insult you, she hated how she gradually began to like your stupid smile, she hated how she could feel disappointment in the pits of her stomach on the rare occasions when she came to see her big brother and you weren’t there…!
  • Unexpectedly, Natalya could feel herself getting strangely attached to you and she absolutely despised this. You weren’t even pretty or anything like her big brother whom she adored so
  • Vehemently.
  • So why, why was it that she could feel herself becoming overcome with subtle excitement whenever she was planning on ‘visiting’ Ivan because there was always a chance that you would be there? It confused and frustrated her to no ends.
  • She didn’t need anyone besides big brother (and, maybe, her big sister too - but she would NEVER admit that she actually cared for her.)
  • Regardless, soon her insults and shouting sessions whenever she would see you faded into feisty comments of embarrassment whenever you and her were in the same room.
  • What’s worse, is that she could actively feel herself becoming…detached from Ivan, and it absolutely terrified her. She was devoted and loyal to her brother, but now that you were in the picture…
  • She started to stalk follow you, she told herself it was to make sure that you’d be safe, you were pathetically weak and fragile. She deluded herself into believing that she wasn’t doing this because she cared for you, because she insisted to herself that she still held a burning hatred for you, but since you seemed to make Ivan happy then she needed to make sure you didn’t get hurt or kidnapped so her beloved brother wouldn’t be sad.
  • It was only several times a month at first, when you left after dark, but eventually she couldn’t help but begin to follow you around daily, she craved to see you and it was messing with her.
  • She felt awful, disloyal and unfaithful to the love she had held for her brother, but she also noticed how he seemed to be actually more…relaxed and serene without her. It hurt, but she was only now actually seeing how on-edge she put him, especially when that’s something she never meant to do.
  • It was moment of her eyes being opened, and she suddenly felt bad for the way she hadn’t even noticed that he was so..put off by her behaviour.
  • You, on the other hand…you never ran away from her like he did, even when she threatened you and yelled at you to try and scare you away.
  • Not to mention that some time back you had started genuinely wanting to ‘spend time with her’, which she naturally rejected at first but eventually and reluctantly agreed.
  • It was small, at first. You were sipping on some coffee in a glass*, holding onto the metal holder of the glass, with Ivan’s own glass left half-empty, as he left to go hide as soon as he was informed Natalya arrived.
  • All you really did was invite her to sit down with you and just…talk for awhile. It sounded so stupid, and you’d tried to convince her to do similar things before, but this time she felt an odd desire to take you up on your offer. Happily, you place your own glass down and have her sit opposite you. It was immensely awkward, as neither of you knew what to say.
  • Though, since that day, you made an effort to actually try to connect to Natalya, and get to authentically know her.
  • At an eventual point, Natalya knew she could no longer fool herself, gradually coming to the realisation that she didn’t hate your smile, laugh, boldness and prettiness. She loved it. All of it, she adored it.
  • It wasn’t an immediate realisation, but one that took months for her to fully comprehend. For the majority of the time she had been ‘friendly’ to you, she believed ‘friends’ was all you were, but she desired and needed more.
  • She had accepted that Ivan would never love her like she had done with him. However, she found her entire devotion and affection shifting towards you.
  • As your friendship with her grew, Natalya felt herself drowning in her feelings for you and she needed to have you all to herself. Ivan never really cared for her - not like you had. You were concerned about her well being, her mental health, and spoke to her sweetly, not taking any of her blunt harshness to heart.
  • Unfortunately, everyone around noticed it, too. Ivan was grateful to be free of Natalya’s unsettling obsession with him, but he could plainly see that his unstable sister shifted her obsession from him onto you - and frankly, he was rather worried. You had been one of the few people to authentically be kind to him (the fact you were his capital was not the reasoning either, so you assured) and he didn’t want you to have to suffer through Natalya’s frightful ‘love’ like he’d had to suffer.
  • What none of you had been expecting, was for Natalya to aggressively threatened Ivan himself when she overheard him advising you to try and distance yourself from her.
  • It was borderline traumatic for Ivan, despite all he had to live through - all the bloodshed, insanity, ruthlessness - to actually be the object of his sister’s wrath seemed to be just as bad as being the object of her affection.
  • On second thought, he knew that the latter was much worse of an experience, and it caused him to pity you more - but he also was unsure what he should do, but you were his capital and by that extent he had to also had the responsibility to protect you. But, as strong as he may be, his sister was the one person who he feared above all else.
  • After that, she would demand almost all your time, and if she saw you talking to anyone else, Natalya would interrupt rudely, insult whoever you were speaking to, and if they didn’t back off then she would pay them ‘visits’ later, unbeknownst to you. These visits caused all those once close to you to suddenly abandon and ignore you.
  • Eventually, the fact you were Moscow became an immense nuisance. Why did you have to be Ivan’s capital? Why couldn’t you have been hers…!?
  • In this scenario, Natalya would demand that you become her lover, her tone similar to the times she demanded Ivan marry her. You wouldn’t be able to reject her, either, as she would likely threaten you for real if you did.
  • She is immensely possessive, afraid of ever losing you, craving your love deeply. She would actually be very affectionate and caring, giving you anything you long for - as long as it isn’t freedom from her. After all - you are ALL Natalya needs - so by that extent, she is all you need, too.
  • You just…need to get used to your new life with her.

- Mod Rozalia (May be mistakes, I haven’t proof read lol)
